Deputy Darr’s Donut Wars: Donuts Doing Good

There’s a friendly battle brewing in the Vallivue School District, and it’s powered by donuts!
Kendall Cares is proud to support Deputy Darr’s Donut Wars, a district-wide tour led by Canyon County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer Deputy Darr Anderson, the 2026 Floyd Ledbetter National School Resource Officer of the Year.
At each stop, students, families and community members can purchase donuts for just $2, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the school’s PTO or the SRO Goodwill Fund to support students, activities and positive school culture.
And the competition is already heating up! West Canyon Elementary sold 360 donuts and raised $720, and now they’ve challenged Falcon Ridge Elementary to beat their total at the next Donut Wars stop on September 30.
Donut Wars is about more than fundraising. It’s a fun way to bring schools, families, local businesses and law enforcement together while giving Deputy Darr another opportunity to build meaningful relationships with students.
