Tackle Hunger with Kendall Auto Idaho & West Ada School District

Kendall Auto Idaho is proud to partner with West Ada School District for Tackle Hunger, a September food drive competition benefiting The Idaho Foodbank.

Throughout September, participating West Ada high schools will each host a week-long food drive, collecting nonperishable food donations from students, staff, families, and the community. At the end of each school’s collection week, donations will be weighed, and the school that collects the most food will be crowned the Tackle Hunger Champion!

In 2025, West Ada School District collected 1,925 pounds of food, providing the equivalent of approximately 1,604 meals for our community. This year, we’re hoping to make an even bigger impact!

Community members can also donate nonperishable food throughout the entire month of September at Kendall Ford of Meridian. Whether you donate at a participating West Ada high school during its designated collection week or stop by Kendall Ford of Meridian, every donation helps us Tackle Hunger and support Idaho families through The Idaho Foodbank.
