Kendall Gives Columbia High School Faculty An Opportunity To Be Quarterback At Half Time!

September 9th, 2021 by

Last month, Columbia High School was the recipient of $10k as part of Kendall’s $20K monthly giveaway. Kendall presented the check to Columbia High School during the halftime of their first football game and also involved the faculty and cheering section with a unique “Be the Kendall Quarterback” halftime event. Kendall Auto Idaho team members, Scott Larson and Ron Bovee drove two brand new GMC trucks slowly across the field, as 6 Columbia faculty/coaches attempted to throw the football into the moving vehicles. “The crowd’s roar was exhilarating and reminded me on how amazing and contagious high school spirit is,” said Kendall Community Relations Manager Alishia Jonas. After everyone unfortunately missed the truck windows, Scott Larsen (Kendall) jumped out of the truck, grabbed a football and one of the faculty “Kendall Quarterbacks”, and helped him slam the football into the window. Needless to say, the crowd went wild!!! This fun event, was followed by Kendall presenting a $10,000 check to the Wildpride Dance Team Captains and Columbia Athletic Director Randy Potter. Congratulations Columbia!!
